Introduction
Women's Voices for Change launched Nov. 21, 2005 at a celebration in New York in honor of WVFC and the North American Menopause Society. Hosted by Ann Richards and Liz Smith, the event featured a special performance by Bette Midler. The first-ever Champion for Change Award was presented to author Gail Sheehy.
